What to do about bones
Are Bones REALLY good for dogs? Well the short answer is yes, but thats with some caveats. If they are Beef bones that is very good, But Chicken bones can be dangerous because they tend to splinter when they are chewed. The pieces will go down the dogs throat and can get lodged (not good). The calcium that the K9 absorbs is good ,but can be less beneficial as most individuals think. You may also think that maybe bone broth is best and you would be on the right track, but with all the flavorings and additives added to the “human” bone broth that would be a concern in itself. Finding a bone broth made for dogs is best and may be difficult to find. At any rate its a thought to consider. Its advisable to talk to your veterinarian or a K9 nutritionist to gain insight and information on this dietary supplement. Thanks for reading, Scotty
